This morning we were up at dawn to move the boat to another part of the lake. I have to say the experience of having my morning coffee while watching the sun come up over the mountains as we moved across the lake was pretty special. Quite a perfect way to start my day 🙂
I mean seriously, how can it get better then that? I’ll tell you... it can’t.
Also, for the record, sleeping on a house boat is amazing. It’s like a giant waterbed (you guys remember those right? right??) that just rocks you to sleep. That combined with the sound of the water as been lovely. I highly recommend it to everyone 🙂
After a lovely stroll around some of the lake, we arrived to a specific location we had in mind and then spent most of the morning on the jet skis.. where I won multiple races 😛
Once I had enough excitement for the day, I decided I needed to soak up some sun.. as if I don’t get a tan soon they are going to kick me out of California.
so literally this was my view most of the day...
And it was flipping fabulous!
After a cloudy day yesterday my pale skin welcomed the sun with open arms.
And I even remembered that I promised selfies.. and with enough cocktails in my system, I tried to deliver...
And then I realized I’m extremely awkward and can’t seem to figure out selfies 😄 how do you people do this?
Ok.. well look, this is the most normal face I can make...
love when the hdr on my phone kicks in.. everything looks so bright. And look!!! I am getting tan!
Annnnddd that’s enough of my face!
It was amazing just having a day of laying around in the sun, mixed with jet skis, tubes and water slides.
Then as the sun began to set, all the boats started to gather to find prime spots ...
Prime spots for what? Oh.. yes..
Fireworks!! 😎🎆🎇
But I think I shall give them their own post, as I haven’t went through all the shots I took, as well as the multiple videos.
So come back tomorrow for that 😉
