An exciting day for the @papa-pepper tribe indeed!
We received some mail from the other side of the world… all the way from New Zealand!!! It was sent by our good steemit friend @trevor.george. A while ago he asked if we would like to try some candy from his neck of the woods, and we said that would like to try that.
Here is the video of us opening the mail!
Inside were many different kinds of candy native to New Zealand, the likes of which we had never seen before. It kind of reminded us of when we go to Mexico and see all sorts of unfamiliar packaging. Many of these candies bring back some great memories from when Mr. @trevor.george was younger.
Now, we can make our own memories with the same candies that @trevor.george once did!
He was kind enough to ship us some New Zealand pens and some “adult chocolate” for @mama-pepper and @papa-pepper too!
So far, we only tried two kinds of candy, because there is no way that the @little-peppers would be allowed to eat all that candy in one go!
BOOKS TOO!
A wonderful field guide to New Zealand birds was also included, and perhaps one day we will be able to use it in person in New Zealand! Who knows? Also was another popular book, Hairy Maclary, that many in New Zealand should be familiar with. We will check them out soon!
Then, as another surprise for us, @trevor.george sent two pairs of earrings for Pinkie-Pepper and Red-Pepper! What a blessing!
