Christmas / winter season has so many lovely aspects to it. 

The temperatures drop, 

Snow falls, 

We spend more time indoors, 

Cuddling under a blanket, 

Hot chocolate, 

mulled wine,

Christmas cookies, 

Gingerbread men, 

Cinnamon-everything, 

Christmas songs & carols,

Christmas movies...

And then on Christmas Day obviously the presents, 

Giving others presents and seeing their joy, 

Spending time with family and loved ones, 

Christmas dinner, 

Decorating the Christmas tree, 

A crackling fire, 

Roasted marshmallows ... 

There are just so many things that I love about the winter time, and particularly December! 

Obviously not everything about it is great, it's very cold outside, shopping for presents can be stressful and everyone seems to rush around in a hurry. 

But in general, I just love the holidays. 

My favorite part of all is probably when I've spent a lot of time thinking about the present for someone, and then seeing their reaction when they open it. 

That is just priceless !
