I came out side today and looked at the sky to see this cloud and I am trying to interpret what it is saying. It seems on the right side there is a guy putting on sun glasses with long hair that flows into the cloud. Lol. I must be seeing things.
I remember when we were growing up, we use to see different cloud patterns and when we asked the elderly ones they will tell us one story about it or the other. Sometimes we were told there are two women pounding yam or a farmer forgot his sheep in the farm and went back to get it. We used to believe there were people up there looking down at us. At night we starred and saw different star patterns which amazed us a lot. We wondered if the people up there are hungry, whether they have eaten, how they feed and if they had a family. We often wondered how big they were and if they'll ever come down and visit us some day.
Now we know better, we have done geography in secondary school and know that all those talk were just a load of rubbish. I now wonder if those elderly people knew all this at all or just trying to make us feel better. I remember they used to tell girls not to allow boys sit near them or touch them if not they'll get pregnant. Ha! Who believes those types of stories again? There were a lot of things that were told to us when we were kids that I still wonder why such things were told to us, why not just tell us the truth when they knew we will one day grow up to find out the truth. I guess they were trying to protect us or make us feel better. Some kids sure can ask a lot of questions and maybe they just give us an answer that will make us just shut up instead of asking more question.
