The Bengal Famine Of 1943

Without Technology, the World would have been a hell of a place to live in, without the disruptive power of the Blockchain; one of the many benefits of Technology, many of us in Developing Nations that have been in one way or another liberated from the gripping power of poverty might not be here to witness the beauty of the Blockchain.
Before advancement in civilization, there has been chaos, war, diseases, disasters, and this aforementioned crisis still linger on. Without Technology, Humans would have been wallowing in;
MORE STARVATION
There are regions of this World where a single meal in a day is like a "Camel passing through a needle eye". These people in the corners of the universe have done many awful things to feed, in North Korea extreme starvation have made people turn into cannibals to stay fed, people have eaten the back of tress just to live yet another day. But technology has been able to at least reduce hunger rate in the world. "When hunger is out of poverty, poverty is finished!"
WAR AND MORE WAR
In my country and in yours, we are fighting many wars; insurgencies, crime, human trafficking and so on. In Syria, Somalia, Sudan, North-East Nigeria and several rumors of what with impending Nuclear threats, the war against ISIS and different wars in every corners the World. Without technological advancement, humans must have been doomed!
OUTBREAK OF DISEASES
Without the advancement in Technology, so many diseases could have wiped us all away into oblivion. Ebola, E-coli, SARS(Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), HINI influenza and many evil diseases which could have annihilated us; but Technology has saved us in many ways through researches and studies that have been used to combat many of this diseases and had prevented them from causing more damages.
NATURAL DISASTERS
Large Magnitudes of Earthquakes and Tremor have been discovered through seismic data readings, landslides, volcanic eruptions, massive floods, hailstones and many other natural calamities have befallen mankind. Technology has helped saved many lives, massive damages have been averted with many lives saved. Bottomline is that life would have been a lot harder than it is now, even though mankind has been able to avert many of this horror that could have wiped us all out into oblivion, this chaos has made us stronger and wiser; we have been able to avoid WWIII. at least not yet!
