Last week was the 20th episode of this series, it has been an amazing ride in the Awkward Moment Series fro the start till each latest episodes per week. "IMPRESS NO ONE BUT HUMANITY"
Often times, most of our good gestures are not deep; they are not from the heart there this makes them surface based acts of kindness to impress a set of people or a group to achieve certain selfish goals. Only a few proportion of people carry out the real and actual acts of kindness without expecting ovation from anyone or anywhere. One of the reasons why most charity organizations and firms swindle funds meant for relief purposes which had been donated by different benefactors. These criminal Organizations exists all over the world and they must have impressed before which clouded their real motives and intentions.
Some individuals help and not trying to impress anyone, one of such persons is Mrs.Kalu, a widow of over a decade in her early sixties. All her kids are all grown ups and she was provided a maid to look after her. Although a maid/servant; Mrs.Kalu took the maid as her daughter just like she always treats everyone in her Neighborhood.
Now the act of kindness is not a matter of religion or spirituality but a self-will and goodwill from a Noble and pure Heart!
"Madam do good" as Mrs.Kalu is always referred to in her community. She takes care of the old ones around her as well as the needy giving them free meals a couple of times a week out of the funds her kids sends to her for upkeep.
Everyone has frown fond of Madam do good and her fame had spread to neighboring communities. The motives behind Mrs.Kalu's kindness is never known, all that matters to the people around was that she takes care of the helpless ones around the community she lives in.
For a while, everyone in the community always thought of madam do good as a very wealthy woman because of the way she treats the people around her, fact is that Mrs.Kalu always exhausts her funds the first two weeks of every month and always seeks out loan from the bank to be able to meet the needs of her people. At some point, her loan was becoming too much that the bank had sent realtors and Estate Valuers to estimate her apartment for collateral. Only "madam do good", her maid and the bank knew about her dilemma; no one else knows and cares once they are being fed and taken care of.
Then something miraculous happened, a senator who was returning from visiting his in-law was passing by with his entourage. He saw people gathered at Mrs.Kalu's property as the Bank was sealing the place up and this shocked everyone and hundreds had gathered to see the unfortunate event as it unfolds concerning their precious "madam do good". The Senator got curious and halted his convoy to know what was going on. Immediately the name "madam do good" was mentioned, he startled because he had been hearing rumors about the famous woman.
The senator beckoned Mrs.Kalu to ask what was going on after telling her how honored he was to finally meet her. She briefly told the senator her dilemma, with a smile he signaled to one of his aides and right there he issued a check that tripled the amount Mrs.Kalu was owing the bank to her.
"In her quest to help others, she went bankrupt so as to keep people smiling without them knowing what she was going through, then the universe backed her efforts up!"
