THE BATTLES WITHIN US!

There is war all over the World...

War on hard drugs and crime, family protection sagas where kids are lawfully taken away to be molested and the battle against corruption. Each of this wars sounds not so close to us till someone we cherish is involved or a causality, but we all have our own individual wars; the battles we fight within us as a man or woman or even as a family or group.

Different strokes for different folks, it's left for you and i to vanquish that which we are waging war against inside our minds and bodies. Some of this internal individual wars is what i write on briefly below as you read and enjoy.

ADDICTION

I have a very nasty addiction, and so is Billions of people on this planet. It is a war because people like me have tried so many approach to overcome this and many others have spent grands to end their addictions. Though we might derive enjoyment from it for a short while but we all battle to do away with it. Just like addiction to drugs, people enjoy it and couldn't stop till it ends their lives or put them in a mental institution.

People with an addiction do not have control over what they are doing, taking or using. Their addiction may reach a point at which it is harmful.-Medical News

It becomes a war when we and everyone having one addiction or another wants to stop but couldn't despite it's harmful effects on our health, that is when it gets lethal and requires some level of advance combating to quench.

DEPRESSION

I have battled and won depression, even if it's just to some extents. Though depression made me an Alcohol addict, to stop seeing the ghosts of my loved ones i resort to drinking and it only helped a bit and not permanently.

Depression is more dangerous, it can kill instantly it sets in. From the way you move and sleep, to how you interact with people around you, depression changes just about everything. Noticeable in the way you look, relate/speak and express yourself in writing or songs just like Sylvia Plath and Kurt Cobain did in their songs before it killed them through suicide!

We know that rumination (dwelling on personal problems) and social isolation are common features of depression.-Quartz

Though depression happens to people who dwell much on their problems, it is still a war to fight in the land of the living except the dead. Only the dead would not be depressed in times of their absolute needs or wants or rejection and maybe catastrophic failures.

LONELINESS

This is also a battle, only the victims of loneliness would know how powerful this monster is. It slowly creeps into the soul and devour it from inside out. To everyone who had lost dear and loved ones, this might mean something to us all.

Have you ever been in a situation where you long so deep to hear the voice of a long dead loved ones? Just to tell you that you are not alone and they are watching over you? I have because it is an empty world and lonely place without my parents. Siblings help but each of us needs that motherly and fatherly love; to those who were thrown into Orphan-hood.

When you have no one to talk to, creepy thoughts comes in and that is when the though to take ones life is planted and probably nurtured and executed. This is another war in all human beings, at least the ones still with human feelings

LACKING IN WANTS/NEEDS

Poverty is a battle, only a few win it. Our lacks for what we want and need is so great that it has send some people to early grave, the war that kills it's victims without taking them hostages.

One of the wars waging humanity is poverty, the imbalance of the riches in the universe where a fraction of people owns what could belong to Billions. This is a global war, though many Countries and bodies with Philanthropist are trying to help combat it; it is still raging on.

FAMILY WARS

As strange as this sounds, some family have deep issues going on. Some families have killed each other while some has harmed themselves over wealth or something else. This are avoidable battles, though humans have a complicated way of reasoning and resolving conflicts.

Some of this wars are the things i have gone through and still going through or what some people close to me are experiencing. What matters most is not letting each of this battles within consume us has it has consumed some individuals and had sent them to their early graves!
