Real life siege
Just down the road, 3 houses away, the guy there had a knife and was going off his head and talking crazy etc. There were cops all around the surrounding streets, something like 20 cop cars, there were dogs ready, swat came in which will be in the video (I couldn't get their voices in the recording and had to zoom in on the phone) where they are talking him down.
It was initially multiple cops right out the front of his house, trying to talk to the guy and convince him to put the knife down and come out, but to no avail as the shouting and swearing from him continued. Finally they brought the swat in who I was unsure of what the guns held, bullets or rubber bullets to stop him if need be, but after convincing with help of the arsenal shown to get the guy to come out, finally drop/throw the knife away, and to get on his knees and surrender, they took him into handcuffs.
The ambulance was brought in to get him into a straight jacket and sent off to get help (as he takes a lot of drugs and was needing the help).
This is the second time
Last time this happened I was not home, but my oldest brother was with the younger kids and was around the age of 12 or so for me, and I was at my uncles. The siege was directly across the road with a father I believe, holding his family hostage, not 100% sure who it was.
I wasn't scared through this recent siege, more wanting to see it to the end. Only a month and a bit ago I was at the end of the street, breaking up with my girlfriend while this guy was going off, throwing his letterbox and cracking the shits at his mate which didn't phase me.
Luckily I don't think anyone was injured and they were able to end it successfully, providing the street with safety once more (which is why there were so many cops as many were blocking the way to our houses in case he made a run for it).
