Let's Celebrate Love

Single or not, I was never a big fan of Valentine's day.
In my opinion it is a little bit overrated and commercialized. The big reason for that is seeing people, mostly guys, who almost feel obligated to buy gifts for the other half. And I also feel like most guys in these situations when they have no idea what to buy, play it safe and go for "the classic" - roses and chocolates.

Don't get me wrong, I love roses and I love chocolates, but what I don't like is when people give each other these and other similar things (stuffed animals as another example) without any real attention or effort, because at the end that's what really matters.

Since implementing a more of a minimalist mindset, I appreciate experiences, small acts of kindness and other non-material things a lot more, not only when it comes to romantic relationships. So today I've spent most of the day away from laptop/phone, with my family. We had some homemade pizza and my sister in law made those delicious chocolate lava muffins again.

I also want to share this video from Casey Neistat he published today for his wife Candice, wishing her a happy Valentine's day. He is an incredible film/video maker and YouTuber and I think that this is the perfect way he used his talent to make something original and romantic. HERE is the video!

To all the amazing couples and to all the single beautiful souls out there - I hope you had an amazing day filled with love, gratitude and appreciation.

Let's celebrate love every day!
