The Tale of Tony and his jewel Part One
As he walked into his office, he gently slipped his hands into his pocket and brought out a sheet of paper, written on it was “my, love you’re the best thing to happen to me. Have a great day at work. I love you” his wife had slipped the paper into his pocket as he was dressing up for work. Feeling all blessed to have a lovely wife, with a broad smile on his face, he looked down and said softly “she’s a priceless jewel I can die for”.
After a few minutes of work, Tony noticed he left an important file at home. He rushed back home, on reaching his house, he saw a car parked in front of the house………………… and to him, the car was familiar. Being a little bit troubled by that, he walked into the house through the back door. Astonishingly, lying nude on his matrimonial bed was his ‘Priceless Jewel’ on top her was James…………his best friend.
Emotionally wounded, heartbroken and overtaken by anger, Tony pulled the trigger…………………. James did not survive it after all attempt to save his life by the doctors.
He did not die for his ‘Priceless Jewel’, but he killed for her.
Part Two
Tony was charged murder and jailed for murder the murder of James. Days, weeks, months even years passed by his ‘Priceless Jewel’ never visited him while he was in prison.
On that faithful day he regained his freedom, tony went home and found the house empty. No wife, no property, except for the bed and a few other stuffs. He freshened up and walked down to the beach side restaurant. Sited in his front were this ‘Lovely Couple’. They laughed and played romantically. He could see happiness and love all over the man’s face, though he could not see the woman’s face, because she sat with her back towards him, he assumed she felt same way. They reminded him of his happy days with his ‘Priceless Jewel’. Tony had just placed his orders when the ‘Lovely Couple’ made to leave. The man stood up first, and then lovingly pulled up his woman. But as she turned, tony got the greatest shock of his life. Lo and behold it was his ‘Priceless Jewel’ with another unsuspecting prey.
Bewildered, betrayed and embittered, tony left the restaurant without eating. His legs could hardly carry him back home, but somehow, he managed. He entered his house, laid down in despair.
For his ‘Priceless Jewel’ he committed murder.
For his ‘Priceless Jewel’ he lost his job.
For his ‘Priceless Jewel’ he was imprisoned.
“Women are devils. Women are the most dangerous creature on earth” he muttered as he wept bitterly.
Will Tony ever love again?
Are all women devils?
Was he betrayed by Love, Friendship or humans?
Is True Love still in Existence?
Was he betrayed by his inability to control anger?
Is man also a devil for coveting his best friend’s wife?
Love isn’t worth it. Friendship is only but a mirage.
