This used to indicate that the minnows were getting starved by whale votes.
You do realize that delegation of sp has negated the whale voting experiment?
It is harder to track now, though not impossible, instead of one whale to watch tptb have to search each whale and see where they have delegated their sp, and downvote those folks.
This is hardly politically sustainable, too many minnows crying to down vote them all.
Don't think the whales that pushed this bug as a feature didn't know exactly what they were doing.
They did it under false pretenses, knowingly, imo.
It is a good idea for the Steemit account to delegate sp rather than to actually give sp to each account.
It would have gone broke without the 150% inflation in place in the beginning.
I get that, but there are only two reasons to delegate whale sp other than to create new accounts, and that is to reward sycophants and to control the hot and trending pages.
Don't let the sharks pull the wool over your eyes, we will go right back to the minnows not mattering in the math just as quick as the folks that kept us down intentionally before can swing it.
They want us here producing so that they can mine us.
