The venue is a short walk from Grand Central New Street Train Station Birmingham and also Birmingham Snow Hill Train Station.

Built in 1862 by Julius Alfred Chatwin, the establishment was originally designed as a library before becoming the Birmingham Joint Stock Bank. Lloyds Banks then took ownership of the premises in 1889 - the very same year as Birmingham recieved official City status.
What better place to host a Cryptocurrency meetup than on the site of a previous FIAT bank?
The place does great ales and pies, any Steem dollars generated on this and subsequent meetup posts will go towards the alcohol and food fund.
