Holy moly Steemians! Thank you so much for all the fun!
I joined Steemit in June, 2017 and I had no idea what I was even doing. I didn't know how to use markdown, I didn't know what the blockchain was, I didn't even know how to upload a video to youtube. Yep, I was internet-ly clueless! Gotta give a big shout out to my love @drakos who was the first person who helped me figure this thing out! (Vote for him for witness!)<3

Obviously being here has changed all of that and today I’m celebrating a big milestone- 3000 (and 50)!
I genuinely mean this numbers are not the only measurement of what matters! I could have thousands of thousands of people following me but if none were interacting with me, that would never feel as rewarding for my time and effort! Lucky me, I have met tons of amazing friends and that is not a problem!
However, what those numbers do mean to me is that somehow, someway, my words are getting out there, my recipes being shared and that’s a wonderful feeling! So, in true Steemit fashion, I am celebrating this day because I am truly grateful for what I have received here!
I have found that since discovering this community, I have grown in so many ways- ways in which I never would have thought! It’s the people that have come into my life here that have made this feel the way it does to me. It’s different than anything I have ever been a part of online before!
In a way, in some fantastical way, I have found myself in these months. I found my voice and my passion and this is the place that helped me get there!
- I've told my craziest stories
- I've confessed my deepest secrets and thoughts
- I've shared my best and most delicious recipes
- I've launched projects and contests to help raise awareness surrounding health and food
- I've brought you on my travels with me all across New Zealand, Bali, Thailand, Malaysia, Maldives and anywhere else my feet wanted to go!
- I've even explained some fancy technical stuff in easy to understand ways!
And my friends, the adventure has only begun!
So, cheers to the people who have connected with me here, the ones who have encouraged me to “Steem on”, the ones who have shown genuine, heartfelt kindness and creativity and magic!
