So I've been writing about Steemit in Bitlanders, it's about time I write about Bitlanders on Steemit again. This is the other site where I earn some $$$. It's not that much but at least I earn some money.
(For those who aren't aware, there are several of us who came from that site and joined here.)
Those who've already joined and used my link before and haven't had the time to read more about it, here's more information. If you are curious about my Bitlanders banner in most of my post signature too this is the answer.
First, please read my comparison of Bitlanders and Steemit. I wrote it 3 months ago: Fun Way to Earn Extra $$$: Join Bitlanders! Read it first so you will understand the terms or more of how it is to use Bitlanders then come back here to read how to earn.
The next thing you need to know: You can use a mobile browser or a computer to access the site. If you use a mobile browser, use the desktop option to see and get the links so you can post blogs, videos or images. Otherwise you will only see the microblog option.
Microblogs are like tweets. You can share a sentence or two but the buzz score may not be worth much at all. There is an app but I have never used it at all.

So, this is how you can earn $$$ on Bitlanders. Let me break down how we earn $$$ there.
ā¦ 10 Steps to Daily $$$ in Bitlanders ā¦
1 . Sign Up / Create an Account
Of course, in order to earn some extra $$$, all you have to do is make an account on Bitlanders. You can click here to sign up now and get your first $1 FREE.
2 . Do the Quests
Upon logging in and verifying your email, Hillary and Micky will guide you around Bitlanders. Just follow their prompts to learn how to go around. And also read the FAQ section.
I know some of the FAQ info might not make sense immediately but just go back to it from time to time and pretty soon you will realize all that it means.
The gist of it is, we earn through buzz scores. It's like the number of likes you get on Facebook or YouTube. It's like the number of upvotes here in Steemit. The only thing you need to remember is, the higher your buzz score the more $$$ you earn daily. Everyday your buzz score will change. Some will expire faster depending on the kind of buzz you got.
The lowest daily top member buzz was around $3 everyday I think. The highest daily buzz score I've seen so far is around $9.50. That means around $285 in 30 days! Not bad huh? I think it got higher than $9.50 but I didn't see it. The daily earning can change depending on if the site generates a lot of traffic or not. Members can earn more or less $ daily, it really depends on a combination of factors. This is why quality content on Bitlanders is important.
How to get a high buzz score? Read on.
3 . Login daily and do the daily quests.
Everyday there are daily buzz bonuses. If you login everyday, you always get +7 buzz. If you miss one day of logging in, it will go back down to +1 until you login daily again.
Two of the daily quests involve this: Read 5 blogs for +1 buzz and watch 5 videos for +3 buzz daily. The daily quests refresh every 12 noon, Manila time. At 7pm Manila time, the daily buzz earning chest will pop up and you will know how much you've earned for the day.
4 . Upload your own unique photos, videos and write your own blogs/articles.
To avoid account termination, you must only upload your own content. Even if you see other members posting popular web content, do not do the same thing they do. Do not post items you found on Google, some random site or that video you like on YouTube or Vimeo, etc. Posting these in your Bitlanders account will cause your account removal.
Like here in Steemit, this also means do not post what you've posted on another site or blog that you have. If you wish to post the same blog on Bitlanders, it has to be completely unique and not a duplicate.
5 . Submit your uploads and blogs for review.
You can submit your videos and image galleries for review. You get free gems and free blog submissions when you are new. It will cost 10 gems per submission to review afterwards(more info on gems below). Once it's reviewed, it will be awarded star ratings and buzz scores. Hillary will also inform you what needs to be improved if it's not worth 5 stars yet.
The best way to increase your buzz score is to submit blogs for review. This will get you +3 buzz per day. When you're done submitting a blog it will be reviewed within more or less a week from submission. Depending on the quality of your blog, Hillary will give the star ratings.
The highest and most coveted rating is 5 stars. It's not easy to get 5 stars. It's like being Curied here in Steemit, you don't get it all the time. Sometimes I think they just choose the best blogs that have the highest chance to be popular or searchable. Not really sure but when you get 5 stars it feels really good because you get a big fat +30 buzz. Sometimes it has a +5 if you've added a Querlo chat bot. Or sometimes even Hillary will place a comment on your blog and you get extra buzz!

6 . To avoid termination, do not ask for buzz and do not spam.
Buzz your fellow Bitlanders members. You can subscribe to anyone you like and they will subscribe to you too if they want to. This is to say: you should NOT ASK a buzz for buzz like you do a vote for vote here.
Asking for a buzz in the global chat or in the comments will get your account terminated. If you spam members inbox they can report you too.
And again, upload your own content so you do not get terminated.
7 . Invite friends
Invite your friends through the invite link. If someone signs up using your link, you get +3 buzz for the day. If your friends sign up, you will also get 20% of their buzz score added to your buzz. You help them get more buzz, you help yourself earn more $$$.
8 . Buy gems to submit posts for review.
Like here in Steemit, you can invest in Steem to Power Up and earn more SBD/Steem. In Bitlanders, you buy gems so you can submit your posts for review and have a higher buzz score. The higher the quality you submit, the higher your buzz score and star rating.
Once your content is reviewed by Hillary, you get a number of your gems back depending on the rating you got. If you get 5 star ratings you get all 10 gems back, you get less if you get a lower rating. Mostly we get 4 star ratings and we get 4 gems back.
9 . Mine Bitcoin.
You have an option to mine for bitcoin that will be converted to $$$. It's powered by coinhive. If you don't want to mine then that's fine too.
10 . Take advantage of blog contests or items that give you extra buzz.
There are times Micky will have a blogging contest where you earn higher buzz scores per star rating. There will also be avatar items you can buy that will give you more buzz. If you get the crown and the tiara at certain times, you get a fixed +30 buzz score for 180 days!
And that's it! Do all of the above and you should get a high buzz score in no time. If you can maintain that high buzz score then you're fixed to earn a certain amount of $$$ everyday.

ā¦ How to get paid ā¦
Yes, before I forget, you have to know how to get your $$$.
When the site started, they were paying in Bitcoin. I didn't know about the site then. I signed up when they already had payments in $$$.
Make sure you have a PayPal account in order to get your $$$.
They used to have Payza but because of the Payza issues they discontinued it. Hopefully in the future they will bring back the withdraw to bitcoin option. So far I like getting $$$ so I'm happy enough to just use PayPal to get my moolah.
To get your first payment, once you reach a minimum of $10 you have to order the $10 minimum payout, put in your Paypal email then wait for their email confirmation. They will ask for a picture of you and your ID. This is to verify that you are the one to receive the payment.
Payouts can be redeemed with a minimum earning of $10 and a maximum of $100. I used to withdraw $10 but then moved on up the earning choices until $100. I get less PayPal fees deducted with $100 payouts but it usually takes me a month or more before I earn it. I'm not a consistent blogger so that's why. :D
Anyway for additional questions you can always contact the customer service of Bitlanders. They are very easy to reach via email. There are also some moderators at the site. Sometimes you can find them in the Global Chat.

I've been on the site for 2 years now. The top two members have been there for 4 years. I don't remember exactly when I joined. Haha. Wasn't always active in all that time too so I've only earned this much in total since I joined.
If you are a consistent person, I'm sure you can find a way to be in the leaderboard too.
