This photo was taken in Myamar, Inle Lake. The building is one of the cabins that belongs to the hotel where I stayed. The Inle Lake region is one of Myanmar's most popular destinations. It's a freshwater lake 884 m. above sea level. It's a vast, serene lake – 13.5 miles long and 7 miles wide – fringed by marshes and floating gardens, where stilt-house villages and Buddhist temples rise above the water. Surrounding the lake are hills that are home to many minorities. The only way to get around is by boat.
