The photo was taken at a place called the Bay of Bertes which is located on the outskirts of Kristiansand, Norway. The area has a beach with great swimming opportunities in the summer, a marina and a large recreation area that is used extensively by many. That day when I took this photo there were people there, even though the visibility was rather poor.
