The photo was taken in the little town of Vang Vieng, Laos. It doesn't exactly have the best infrastructure, but the location by the river Nam Song is dramatic. It's right in the heart of a limestone karst landscape. It's the setting that's the attraction. The limestone cliffs is a stunning backdrop to the town.
