I wanna buy something with $indie! Also here are a BUNCH of great sites for Indie artists.

MAN OH MAN. I got some $indie coins just burning a hole in my pocket. Who wants some?! (deets at the bottom of this post)

Wait hold up. First, what is $indie? $indie is a new coin (oh yay another one -- wait just keep reading) tradable on bitshares.org. I don't wanna get into the finer details of what bitshares.org is, but it is used by several communities here on steemit, so if you are on this platform consider looking into it. That said, $indie is a coin being developed and pushed by a few of my absolute favorite indie music sites. The coin is very new, so new people aren't quite sure how to actually spend it and there are discussions currently ongoing how to do so.

Atomcollectorrecords.com is currently offering $indie if you listen to certain platforms on certain days within the site. While $indie has no ACR sitewide functionality yet, in the future it could be a very good asset to have on the site.

Fortheloveofbands.com I don't know much about this site but it appears to be a neat music review site (which kind of puts me in a weird spot since I write for another music review site...heh...) Still though, I encourage almost anything independent/indie that I see coming my way, so I'll promote these guys like I would anyone else. This site is also working with $indie but it has not been announced how yet as far as I've seen.

IndieMusicPlus.com is another site I am not as familiar with, but they are also working with the $indie coin. The site looks to be a promising platform that aims to help bolster independent musicians on their ever-ongoing grueling trek of self promotion but offering promotional tools and assistance.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention the site I write for (sparsely...I'm working on getting the creative juices flowing again so hopefully that will pick up).

Indiebandguru.com is another fantastic music review and promotional site. As far as I know they are not working with $indie coins at this time. But who knows, maybe in the future with a name like Indie Band Guru.
