Growing older makes you nostalgic. Not being busy makes you think of the past. Whatever happened to being in the present right? Well we all know that the bathroom has the magic to stir our minds while doing our business. Lol.
While I was taking a bath last night suddenly I thought about the upcoming beach outing this September. And then I remembered how I wish I traveled more this year than stay at home. Voila, my song pop up came to mind.

While the song was playing in my head like a soundtrack, I couldn't help but sing it too. While singing my mind kind of drifted to the past, to the places I've been to that other people might not have been to. Well, I was able to go to several places in my younger days. Wahaha, no I am not a senior citizen yet. I'm just already one of those Titas of Manila. Lol. Sad but true. :P
I feel like swimming everytime I see some water that I really think this year I am being called by the sea more than before. :P I've been to museums, 2 zoos, 2 mountains and to various beaches of Ilocos...
Of course I've been to Boracay, twice. The only thing missing would be going to LaBoracay. Wait 'til Boracay is clean and clear again. Hehe.
Last year I was able to go to the beach during a company sales rally. It was just a one day event/trip but at least there was enough time to swim in the ocean. It was short but sweet.

It's where I took my profile header pic that says "Please Don't Feed the Monkeys". Haha.
Anyway, looking back to the seaside places I've been to, it's nice to list them down. This should make me appreciate my traveling life as a whole.
Except for:
• Boracay
• those in the Ilocos region and
• the ones we went to when I was a teeny weenie kid to remember...
I've gone to the beaches in:
• Anawangin
• Bagac (Bataan)
• Batangas
• Subic
• Mariveles (Bataan) is the latest beach I went to during summer.
All of them are in Luzon with the exception of Boracay. These are the only ones I remember so far. Hmmm, it's a short list of places, I know.
Most of the traveling I've done while in school was because of family gatherings. That's where I learned how to drink too. Haha. I've got cool older cousins. :P
By the time I was in college though all that nature outings were gone. The next time I went to the beach was a year after I got employed. It was an all expense paid company outing to Boracay. Oh that was memorable but not as fun as the second time I went there.
Here's my pic of Boracay from 2013. :) So picturesque right?

During my work stint in the BPO industry it was also either the beach for team building activities or a pool resort. One time we went to the beach but almost got stuck because of the high sea waves. We had to go over a few mountains at dusk until night time just to get home in the morning! We weren't prepared for it at all. Ugh. That's why I don't like Anawangin now. Lol.
Am not a fan of mountains but I'd gladly go up Mt. Makiling to meet Maria Makiling. Haha. Or Mt. Banahaw to see an ermitanyo (hermit) maybe. Lol. Who knows what I'll see in both places. Maybe I will stay near the ocean instead. :P
My gosh I'm already X yrs old and yet I still have plenty of places to go to! Whew!
Hmmm... next month our plan was to go to Quezon but it seems like there will be a change of plans. Let's see. I wonder if it will really change or not. 🤔
Anyway, here's another 70s song for you all. (No I wasn't alive in the 70s yet. Chill. Haha.)

That's all for now.
