So while I was in Las Vegas with my wife, we came across Jae Ren one night performing near the New York New York Casino. When I first heard his voice, I knew he was something special. He has such amazing talent and I knew that he would do great here on Steemit.
I talked to him a little about Steemit and he seemed very interested. I told him that I was going to be back the next night because I wanted to get some footage of him with my actual camera and microphone.
The next day he messaged me and said he was in the same spot, so @faitherz33 and I left the Luxor hotel and headed out to meet him. When we got there he was playing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." I wish that I had checked the sound levels when I started recording because they were way too high and it got pretty distorted at times.
After I recorded some songs and talked to him, I let him know that I would set up his Steemit account and then when he got home from Vegas he would be able to start posting on it. I am really excited to see where he goes from here. There are so many opportunities for talented people like him on this platform. I have been looking for another new Steemian to spotlight and mentor and it doesnt get newer than this, when you create the account for the person that you are going to be mentoring.
There are a lot of musicians here on the platform and a lot of them follow me, so it would be cool if you all could reach out to @jae.ren either on this post or on his first post when he makes one. Be sure to follow him because I am pretty sure he is going to be a star here.
