Fire Cider Herbal Tonic

This post by @walkerland writes about a great recipes for fire tonic, inspired by her grandmother and ritual. She writes:

The home remedies that we craft usually involve ingredients that grow on the land around us. We make fire cider at least three times per year. Although the base is always the same, each version is unique with the addition special seasonal ingredients. In the spring we gather items such as spruce tips, chaga and dandelion root. In the summer we'll move to things like rhubarb, burdock root, herbs, hot peppers, rose petals and other edible flowers. When weather cools and autumn arrives we'll gather items like crab apples, rose hips and nasturtium seeds and whatever else is still growing. This recipe is so versatile!

Tulsi or Holy Basil

This post by @steemflows writes:

I still remember few of the local Ayurvedic doctor use to make paste of Tulsi leafes and ask us to swallow it during fever. My Mom use to make "Tulsi ka Kadha" , tulsi leafes boiled in water and mixxed with few Indian spices...a kind of soup if i get fever due to cold and cough. The drink proved to be very effective and help us to feel better.

Bring Me a Dream - @metametheus

This post by @metametheus writes:

Modern research confirms the importance of sleep on the digestive system. It plays a role in the regulation of your appetite: ghrelin is the hormone released that tells you you’re hungry, and increases on lack of sleep. On the other hand, when you’re well rested, leptin is released to tell you that you are full. However sleep also plays a role in the immune system, and inflammation linked to certain GIT disorders

CBD Oil - @purplemoon

This post by @purplemoon writes:

I've heard of this plant for ages, my grandmother used to grow it and cook it for us, until the communist regime we grew up in, made it forbidden. They made it cut it all, as it happened in most parts of Western Europe. Back then, my grandparents were using it for making fiber for clothes.
