Hi There.....Have you ever made doll clothes?
I actually made a lot of those when I was a young girl.....I learned to sew from a very young age.....My grandma had a singer sewing machine somewhat like on the picture below if I remember correctly.

We learned to sew on pieces of paper to start with.....Just to get that straight line at first.....Later on with real fabric pieces. My mom sewed a lot too so I learned a lot from her. As a teenager, I made clothes for my dolls to start with and later on for myself 😀

Here is a picture from one sleeve I sewed on
I actually made a small mistake there.....Sewing on the sleeve before seeming the sleeves. So for the second sleeve, I did so before sewing it on 🙄
And then, of course, I sewed the other sleeve to the dress.....That is actually the right way to do it.
So then I sewed the seam of the first sleeve. Next, I sewed the seams of the bottom of the dress.
Be sure to open the seams that you made before.....As on my picture here
Then there were heaps of wires that I needed to tuck in.....Not the most fun part but it has to be done 😝
Last but not least.....And I did that by hand I had to put on the belt. One part on the left side of the dress and the other one on the right side. I did this so that it would be easy for my granddaughter to take it on and off her doll 🙂

I gave it to my granddaughter just before all this madness started.....The last time I was able to pick her up at school.....She was so happy with it and immediately put it on her baby doll.....I have seen her since but from a distance......It's pretty hard not being able to hug her but great to see her at the same time.....I wish for you all to stay safe in these troubled times 😍
