Thank you all!
Twenty three days ago today I made a post to give a big thanks to the people that helped me at the very start of my Steemit career. You can follower that link to find them and support their work π Now, that I have made it to over 100, I want to give a big thanks to everyone that followed me at the start and extend it to my new followers!!
All 59 of you guys. I did the math about 3 times, I gained 59 new people and lost 3 followers, two of which were bots. π I do check on these things, and I hope I can keep this up for the future as well. Your comments mean a lot to me as I continue to grow on the platform. If my quality appears to fall in the future, please tell me. I strive to improve everyday but I am only human after all π
Shout out to the 59 new faces!! Thank you!!

Now the other part of this post! The Butterfly Festival!!
Special shout out to @violetmed and @vannour, these photos are especially for you guys π

There were a lot of things to see at the festival. So, I am just including the butterflies themselves in this post and have a post dedicated to the flowers and museum later π
Outside Shots
These first few were outside in the plaza.
It looked like these two were playing π
Also got some bees in here as well π It makes up for not getting them during the cherry blossom festival I guess π
Inside the Greenhouse
We then went to the greenhouse were they keep caterpillars to grow up.
I think this area is more for children to learn about their life cycle.
Just look at how many there are!!
This was cool, I bet if you get here at the right time, you can see a bunch of Butterflies emerge! π
Speaking of which time for the adults π
Look at this guy freaking go!!! Wish I had that slo cam setting to catch this. Oh well, maybe when I get a new phone π
Unfortunately not all is pretty
Having a bunch of small children, they try to catch the butterflies and this is wht happens π’ They don't mean to but they don't understand how gentle they are.
If you have children and bring them here, it is important to teach them to look but don't touch their wings. Poor things... I guess some kids got the full lesson on the life cycle π
They were also selling butterflies in plastic cups, so I hope that they let them go outside and did not try to keep them pets. π
Anyways...
Here are some displays of what I believe are butterflies from around the world π€
So those were the best butterfly photos that I took yesterday π I hope you all enjoyed what I shared. For the future, I hope we can all be butterflies and pollinate each others post allowing the Steemit community to flourish like a field of wildflowers! Thank you all once again!
Next goal will be 250!
I tend to write about life in Korea as a foreigner, food, photos from trips, and things teaching related. If that interest you and you like this post, please give me a vote and follow π
