Today's Transition Update, from President-Elect Trump ..

Let's go over the key points ..

1) Putting America First !

Always something Americans like to hear - how does he plan to do this? Bringing manufacturing and innovation back to the homeland. Not a plan in itself .. but he did go on to detail at least one way he will get this done.

2) Withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership

Well, wow .. rolling back globalization via Executive Order? This was something organized labour could only have dreamed of under Clinton, Bush Jr., and Obama. What is the Trans-Pacific Partnership or "TPP" you ask? It was to be an agreement between 12 Pacififc Rim nations, notably not including China, which would reduce tariffs, extend intellectual property rights, so on an so forth .. you know how this shit works.

3) Decreased Regulation ..

The gloves are off, when it comes to energy exploration and coal. Well, I am just as much an environmentalist as the next 'intelligent' person, but I say .. f'n a! Given what is going on in the Middle East, shit that will only get worse and demand US involvement if dependence is not reduced .. go for it! Hell, put a nuclear reactor in my backyard Trump!!

Regarding other government regulation .. this is an interesting one .. legislating the retirement of 2 old regulations for every 1 that is introduced. Great idea!! Get government the f*** out of the way D!!

4) .. Security and Immigration blah blah ..

Back to the TPP .. Trump proposes old-school bi-lateral trade agreements, where the interests of Americans, specifically American workers, is foremost in the minds of negotiators. This can not be described as anything short of revolutionary .. certainly a slap in the face of the New World Order crowd ... hmmm.. I wonder if they will let him live?
