Do you remember the days when families would get together and celebrate Thanksgiving without the trappings of materialism, talk of getting that latest gadget at the department store and boasting about the value of their investment accounts, who had an affair with whom, celebrity scandals, and so and so on, etc?
Sadly, those days are over.
I remember reading Norman Rockwell's America, a book about life in the 1950's. And what a simple time it was. And what a wonderful book it was; showing timeless illustrations of a time when people's values were more innocent and pure and familial bonds were strong and everyone was nice and polite to each other. In short, it was trying to paint a picture; filling those who lived in those times with hope at showing the beauty of what humans can be. How a society can value individuality, freedom of expression and thought, without the fear of being castrated by their peers.

Now in the 21st century and a lot has changed. Times have changed. The political and social climate has changed. Morals and values have changed. People have changed. So have their perceptions of the world around them.
Are we better off now than before, or are we as a society getting worse and worse as our moral values and standards are systematically eroding and political correctness is worming it's way even more into our society like a worm into an apple; rotting from the inside out?
Today, we have a society of spoiled brats, superficial women dotted up from head to toe with all the latest fashions (made from the backs of foreign workers in sweatshops) and lipstick that would make Marilyn Munroe blush with bittersweet envy; to the sexualization of preteen girls in soft-core porn beauty pageants. Why do I say this? Because everytime I look into a magazine or website, I see various ads of little girls; ages five and up being dressed in scantily clad outfits that would fit right on a stripper or hooker!! It's SHOCKING!! Utterly disgusting and disturbing. The fact that society condones such egregious exploitation of children; especially girls, immoral and obscene, to say the least. The parents are to blame, but it's these corporations who put out blatant child pornography that goes right over the head of the sheeple that are the REAL culprits!!
As if that wasn't bad enough, we now have mindless zombies aka the American sheeple lining up at big box stores to buy the latest foreign-made cheap goods from factories of foreign nations such as China, Bangladesh,India, and Mexico; where men and women work in horrible conditions making goods for us at their expense. Where greedy American corporations outsource jobs to India, Mexico, and China; leaving the American worker in the dust of poverty and uncertainty. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if the tables were suddenly turned on us and WE ourselves became slaves working in American sweatshops making cheap goods to sell to China.
Given America's worsening economic crisis and it's status as a manufacturer of goods dwindling, more or less, this seems like a VERY plausible scenario that will no doubt occur in the future if current problems continue to persist like an untreatable cancer.

Oh how the irony hurts if it were to come into fruition.
Yet nobody seems to notice. Nobody seems to care and so they chose to be blissfully unaware and unprepared and go about their mundane, consumerist zombie-like lives; completely ignoring the problem as if it wasn't even there.
Hence, the fatal flaw of human ignorance: Normalcy bias. Our society. So lost on the stinging reality of their own reality.
So as you can see, when America starts it's inevitable slide towards total anarchy, the only ones TRULY to blame are Americans THEMSELVES.

They're supposed to be CELEBRATING THANKSGIVING WITH THEIR FAMILIES; NOT GOING OUT AND ABOUT WAITING IN LINE OUTSIDE OF A BIG BOX DEPARTMENT STORE LIKE A BUNCH OF RAVENOUS WOLVES!!!
Have we lost sight of what is truly important? Are we mindless consumerist zombies; moaning and wandering aimlessly and drooling at the mouth like failed Walking Dead audition rejects at the latest and greatest?(sarcasm).
In all actuality, the sad truth is....Yes.
And as a result, we suffer both spiritually and morally.
We have not changed. The world is just like it is, right now. Same as it ever was.
We are sliding faster and faster down the slope into the proverbial abyss of our souls with no way out.
And the worst part is that the Elites wants us to be this way. To be dominated. And then domesticated; ironically enough, like sheep.
