I was in Brooklyn at the beginning of November for a work conference.
Here are some views from, in, and of Brooklyn.

View from DUMBO, Brooklyn, NY
DUMBO is not the little grey elephant. It is a new trendy neighborhood in Brooklyn. It stands for Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass. My friend Chris Chern posted a great picture from this location so I messaged to get the address. It is Washington and Water. Be warned that there are A LOT of people there taking pictures.

View from the Glasserie, Brooklyn, NY
The Glasserie is a former glass factory (1860's) that serves Mediterranean food and was the location of the conference reception one night. I had a memorable night chatting under the heater looking at this stunning view of New York City.

More views of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden
This garden was my favorite find of the trip. I walked around the garden two mornings in a row taking in the great fall colors. Which were especially wonderful to a Arizona girl like me.
For even more views of this stunning little (52 acres) garden see my recent post Share My World: Brooklyn Botanic Garden. The other garden I love in New York is the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx. It is 250 acres making this one "little".

View of the neighborhood I was staying at in Brooklyn
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Brooklyn, New York.
Hope you have gotten a little feel for the north end of this awesome borough in New York City.
