Hello and welcome to another show review of the Steemit Musicians radio show on MSP-Waves, brought to you by the Minnow Support Projects discord room Peace, Abundance and Liberty!
Each week @isaria, @swelker101 and myself showcase and discuss the Open Mic Judges top 5 selections to a live audience, we then hand the reins over to the crowd and they get to choose that weeks winner of the 20 SBD prize.
So far this show has been amazing and just so much fun, I look forward to revisiting the entries each week and finally getting some real time interaction and discussion about the music we all loved hearing.
It has been such a pleasure to present the cream of the crop to our live audience, I personally love watching them struggle to chose a winner - my evil open mic judge joy, they suffer like the judges do each week.
But truly it is such a joy to hear these amazing songs and see how people react to them, last week there was discussion about how polished some of these are and that these songs can pass for mainstream radio play.

So the lucky winner this week was:
Out of the entries we managed to play live on air, we handed the power to the people and asked them all to vote on who they believe deserves the 20 SBD prize.
This week the crowd struggled to make the choice, changing their choices as each new song played - until we arrived at @melavie, then the surge came forward and the support was clear.

Last week was amazing and I am sure the new show today will be just as fantastic, I'm really looking forward to hearing the entries again and hope to see you all there.

On the note of the community I thought I'd take a moment to mention that, over at the minnow support program on our discord chat room Peace Abundance and Liberty - the recently revitalised music room has been getting rather active lately.
As well as the recent burst of activity, we have also added a jukebox to the room - so now when you're chatting with people in the music room, you can choose and play music from youtube (this includes open mic entries, I may have already played a couple I've really enjoyed).
So far I have seen a few open mic regulars hanging out and about on the PAL chat rooms, now we have a place where we can actively share music live with people were chatting with - this can help musicians in so many ways, not to mention it's just fun to hang out and chat over and about good tunes.
In addition to the new music room Peace Abundance and Liberty chat rooms have a lot to offer, you can access bots to vote on your posts, you can also meet and interact with over 5000 steemians in the channel - this can be a very useful resource to new steemians, but is also a fantastic place to meet and interact with like minded individuals on many different topics.
I want to thank @isaria and @swelker101 for all the amazing work you do to help bring the show to life each week, it wouldn't be possible without you guys + it's super fun getting to hang out with friends and pretend listening to awesome music is a job!
