Para mi participación en el OpenMic Semana 98 decidí grabar una versíon del vals venezolano "Preciosa Merideña" de Pedro J. Castellanos. Esta obra musical es un homenaje a la mujer merideña. Mérida es una de las provincias más hermosas de Venezuela, cuenta con bellos paisajes de montaña y un clima estupendamente frío. El estado Mérida es tan precioso como su gente. Un lugar perfecto para vivir y visitar.

escucha este poema
mi corazón
lo invade una pena
oye mujer
preciosa merideña
nunca pensé
darte mi corazón

Y la suave
caricia de la Sierra
se acerca hasta tu rostro
tan puro y virginal
fue en la plaza
Bolívar merideña
donde juré
no dejarte de amar

Greetings to the entire Steemit Community!

For my participation in the OpenMic Week 98 I decided to record a version of the Venezuelan waltz "Preciosa Merideña" by Pedro J. Castellanos. This musical work is a tribute to the woman from Merida. Mérida is a Venezuelan province that has beautiful Andean landscapes, mountainous, a place as beautiful as its women.
