This is my entry to week 27 of the Pay It Forward Curation Contest, @PIFC. The contest is an initiative by @thedarkhorse, where we have to feature two promising original content authors with 55 reputation or below who could use some more attention. Here are my featured steemians for this week:
Nymia Aryn
I had first run into @nymia.aryn at a contest back in May 2018, and found out that she runs a contest of her own. She's totally in love with mermaids, either her own art or the art the participants submit to her contests.

The contest is called #MermaidMonday, and has participants showcasing their mermaid art. Even though people commonly submit drawings, back then she had said it's not limited to drawings or paintings (this was what caught my attention because I'm visually impaired and can't draw anymore). It could also be other forms of art, like papercrafts for example. Now, months later, I decided to check up on her blog, and her contest is still running and unleashing mermaids into the Steemit ocean every week!
The contest is on its 24th week already. Here's the latest post:
At the time I learned about the contest, I had tried to wipe up an origami mermaid, but it didn't work out and I ended up not participating in the contest. Maybe another time!
