My Pay It Forward Feature

As those of you who follow me know, I haven't been posting much the last month or so. However, I was asked to participate in this project by someone I met here on Steemit that I am thankful to have come across @energyaddict22. He posts some interesting posts detailing his travels, while adding in many historical facts concerning the places he showcases. He also posts a lot about food, so if you are like myself regarding late night eating, it is best to put those posts of his off till morning.

This contest that was started by @thedarkhorse reminds me of something that happened to me very early on when I came to Steemit (which wasn't that long ago, just feels like it). I was featured in a post called Diamonds in the Rough, by @Sandalphon. That act of kindness was one that means a lot to me, considering how hard it is to get noticed on here initially.

So enough jabber-jawing, here is the breakdown of the project for those of you who may wish to participate.

You find 3 people whose rep is under 50 whose posts impressed you. Let us know why this person is interesting to you along with a link to their latest post that is not from over a week ago. Post this to your blog and then comment on the contest post ( @thedarkhorse/pay-it-forward-curation-contest-week-4-win-sbi-and-steem-bounty) with a link to your post.

There is a bunch of other contest particulars with prizes and whatnot to entice some of the more selfish people to participate, but I am to lazy to write about that stuff as I am doing this more to help the 3 people. So if you are interested in prizes and stuff, its up to you to read the last post I linked to. And if for some reason the judges lose their minds and mistakenly pick me for one of the prizes, please distribute it among the 3 people I am featuring.

So, on to the important stuff now.

1- @jnetsworld - I recently discovered this blog due to upvotes quietly given to me. As usual, I became curious and what I found was a person of depth who ponders the value and quality of experiences. Pressed for time, I have barely scratched perusing previous posts (yes, I do that if I find you interesting, even if it is past 7 days), and I look forward to doing so. @jnetsworld/i-spent-the-day-in-a-dream-2018-04-23-06-04-30

2- @bitkmbr - Ok, I had to really go through those I follow to pull out another user below 50 and here he is. Truth be told, I don't follow him much for his actual posts. So you're probably wondering why I am still following him (as well as wondering why I didn't just type you are instead of you're, or maybe I am the only person who wonders about this type of stuff). I don't remember to much about our initial crossing, but what struck me about him was despite his posts not consisting of much, he will engage with you if you make a comment on what he posts. I believe he is mostly using Steemit as a funnel for his music, and hope he finds the success he is looking for. If you are looking for someone who will actually engage with you, he is what you are looking for. @bitkmbr/74qerz-3

Mini rant before I go find a third person. Most of the people I connected with when I first joined no longer use Steemit, many giving up after their initial post or two. This brainchild is much needed. Now off to go find a worthy third.

3- @mynameisjenn - Came across her just now in introduceyourself. Like so many, she seems ready to blossom but doesn't quite know how. Perhaps Steemit can be the solution for her to give herself permission to be herself. Her post can be found here. @mynameisjenn/dark-soul
