I love finding new under-valued Steemians and this contest is a great excuse to find fabulous bloggers whose post aren't getting the attention they deserve. In case you aren't aware, the Pay It Forward Curation Contest is a weekly challenge from @thedarkhorse to find bloggers to promote.
I also love the number 13 - such a great number!
(Awesome new image isn't it?!)
Today was difficult - I found lots of awesome bloggers today who deserve to be featured (and they will be - just not here) - but were too high of a rep (or had a high payout already) for this contest. Neither were they artists! Anyway, here are my selections for this week.
Selection 1 - @zaimrofiqi
As a writer myself, I enjoy reading pieces which take me somewhere I've never been before and give me the experience through the words. This poem is just one of those - and that's why I like it. I also like that it could easily become a song.
If you come in too late and can't upvote this particular post, there are quite a few others to choose from including an interesting culinary post and further poems. @zaimrofiqi is worth a follow for sure.
Selection 2 - @pejugold
A life experience / A brief visit to a rabbit farm/ rabbit meat ๐is sweet
Warning: This is guaranteed to not be everyone's cup of tea! If marketing rabbits for meat/lab use offends, please accept my apology and move on - but @pejugold is simply frank about what the rabbits are used for.
I love that @pejugold has taken us with her to a visit to a rabbit farm. She didn't only look at the rabbits, but she got her hands dirty - including learning how to identify the sex of the rabbit!
As I look down the rest of her blog, she is open and sharing with us about all aspects of her life - something that I love because it's unlikely that I will ever experience life in Africa, but I know more about it because of this writer.
Please give @pejugold a visit - she definitely deserves more attention!
I know that my bonus selection is free from the Rep 50 restriction, but I couldn't help but feature another under 50 because I found this one...
Bonus Selection - @marleyn
Okay, I still retain some of my Britishisms, and I must say this one had me gobsmacked! The intricacy of this piece is just stunning - and she did it all by hand - and showed us the entire process! I think it's simply amazing!
I look down her post and find lots of different jewelry making posts - you could spend a lot of (very enjoyable) time following her instructions and making some very beautiful things. She's totally worth a follow!
That's it from me this week - please check out this awesome contest. It's so much fun!!! (Not to mention the constantly-improving prizes!)
