This photo was taken in the Namibian desert at a place calles Deadvlei, which is the remains of an ancient former river route. The floor is white, consisting of dry, cracked mud an petrified camel thorn trees stretching towards the sky. These trees are more than 500 years old. They have become fossils still standing as silhoutes against the sand dunes and the sky. An absolutely surreal experience that allows great photographic opportunities.
