This photo was taken in the Namibian desert. Namibia has one of the oldest deserts in the world and some of the highest sand dunes in the world. This giant sand dune is named Dune 45 and perhaps the easiest of these giants to climb. It rises more than 150 meters above the surrounding plain, which makes it look like a giant when standing in front of it. The colors just after sunrise are simply incredible.
