Exposing The Real Beauty OF Pakistan!!! (Part 3-Multan)-MyPictureDay

It's been the third post since I started writing about different cities of Pakistan. I am using this amazing platform “Steemit” to tell people from the rest of the world that how beautiful of my beloved Pakistan is.

Multan (مُلتان‎‎) is the 5th most populous city in Pakistan located at the bank of the River Chenab in the Punjab province. It is famous because it is the historic cultural center of the Southern Punjab and an important economic centre. Multan is a very ancient city and has been continuously inhabited for at least 5,000 years. It has attracted a multitude of Sufi mystics, that's why called "City of Saints". It is known for having some of the hottest weather in the Country. It has a number of mosques, shrines, and tombs. So I along with my friends visited Multan and capture some pictures with DSLR(Canon 60d).

  • Tomb of Shah Rukn-e-Alam
It is the mausoleum of the famous Sufi saint Shaikh Rukn-Ud-Din Abul Fateh.

  • Gardezi Mosque
This mosque lies in the center of Gardezi Market. A very famous market of Multan.

  • Darbar Eid Gah

  • Saint Mary’s Cathedral
The 165 years old Cathedral of St Mary The Virgin Church whose foundation was laid by the Indian British Army and Queen’s army in 1848 and this magnificent building was completed in 10 years. None presence of any pillar makes it a milestone in the history of Architecture. It was renovated in 2013 and Corps Commander Lt General Abid Pervaiz inaugurated it in Dec, 2013.
