On January 31st I started the day with a drive to the small town of Vennesla, less than half an hour drive from Kristiansand. The road follows the river Otra all the way. The fog, the colors and the light made me stop.
Otra is the largest river in southern Norway. It has its run from Setesdalsheiene in Bykle municipality in the north to Kristiansand in the south where it flows into Skagerak. It divides our city into two connected by two bridges. Every day when I go to work I cross one of the bridges to get into town.
The landscape and the colors of the trees almost look like autumn. It's unbelievable that it's still winter. But the sight made me stop. Enjoy a little piece of southern Norway.
