These caught my attention while on our walk along the Regent's canal yesterday. I thought that these are the flowers themselves, and almost kneeling to take this I realised that they are the remnants of the flowers. Are they called the "ovaries"?
They're kind of cute on their own, having a darker shade of bluish purple. They can just be weeds with flowers I don't know. It would have been interesting to really see what its' flowers were like before.
