Beetlejuice Bug - Super Macros [ 4 photos ]

I found this creature dead in a pool skimmer this afternoon, took it home and set up on the table.

OK, so I don't think it's really called a Beetlejuice Bug.. but the white and black stripes remind me of the Beetlejuice character!

Canon SL1 with 100mm Macro at f32, which is the smallest aperture my camera can do., and a Raynox 2.5x magnification filter. The macro light on full blast, and a second lamp above put up right next to the bug. The beetle was around 3/4" long

I really like how these came out.
