Garden Spider Closeup

Been taking a bit of a break — on vacation! As such I've not been around here too much.

But, now it's time to get back to the real world...

Didn't really get out to take too many photos recently, but today I saw this creature in the window and grabbed the camera. It is a tiny spider so getting a good focus was really difficult (I didn't get a perfect focus, can't you tell) because even a slight breeze would move the web.

Ah well!

I like that you can see the little hairs on the spider. Kinda creepy looking, though.

Think that animal closeups is my favourite genre to take, and flowers/plants.

Gear: Canon SL1, 100m Macro Lens, Raynox 2.5x Magnification Filter, Macro Ring Light, Manfrotto Tripod with Focus Slide.
