One of my favorite things to do - when we are crazy enough to wake up at 4-4:30 in the morning - is enjoy a sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean at New Smyrna Beach in Florida.
Yes, New Smyrna is the shark capital of the world, and needless to say, we stay out of the water. The plethora of colors over the water are enough to keep us entertained - well, some of us need a cigar here and there.
I am not a coffee drinker so 4-4:30 in the morning usually means that I stay up till our group piles into a few cars and drives to the beach. Thankfully, a hearty breakfast at Denny's keeps me awake till I crawl back in bed upon our return.
