Here's a picture of a friend of mine pretending to be the proud owner of a Trabant in a street in Prague. We had travelled there to offer what protection we could to our Czech friends demonstrating for Havel, mainly by waving our Dutch passports in the faces of policemen, but no such thing was needed, the demonstrations were quite peaceful.

Four friends at said demonstration for Havel in Prague, so it must have been around the end of 1989. Two of my friends were falling in love, which didn't go unnoticed, as I think you can tell from the picture. They got married a year later.

Edit: To the Praguians out there, could the street in the top picture be Čiklova? I don't remember exactly where it was. Also: more pictures of the demonstration here.
