TODAY'S AMPHIBIAN PHOTOS FROM @papa-pepper

I'd take the outdoors over the indoors almost anytime, and I love the wildlife out there. I've been taking a break from hardwood flooring this week, so when I'm not on here talking to you guys, I'm outdoors working. Whether I'm fixing a fence and finding a salamander or building a new rabbit cage for our upcoming bunnies and finding a tree frog, those animals just keep crossing my path. My kids and I really enjoy checking them out up close and personal, so here's a few shots for you to enjoy.

Mostly photos in this one folks, but I'll do some more informative posts about these creatures in the future.

The frogs are either Gray Tree Frogs (Hyla versicolor) or Cope's Gray Tree Frogs (Hyla chrysoscelis). They are virtually indistinguishable except for their mating calls, which they were not doing today, so I can't say for certain which species they were. We had these guys back in Wisconsin as well.

The salamander was a Spotted Salamander (Ambystoma maculatum) which we also found back when we lived in Wisconsin, so it's nice to see more familiar species.

And we will end with that kiss on the cheek!

As always, I'm @papa-pepper (and @narrowminded) and here's the proof:

Since I just took all of the photos today...
