I wasn't super convinced that I wanted to see the Pinnacles. "Just a bunch of rocks sticking out of the ground", I thought. And yes, that is basically what it is. Thousands of limestone pillars grouped together in a desert-like environment.
There are two routes through this area. One for cars (which is so weird...) and one for walking. People actually drive their motorhomes through this field! Why didn't they just park it and walk a little?
But I am happy that I went. It is interesting to hear that they still don't know exactly how they were formed. And there are so many, in so many different shapes and forms. And yes, I kept it decent.
