La Paz & Sucre - Bolivia

La Paz is the seat of the Bolivian government. It is for the Bolivians the administrative capital of the country, Sucre being the constitutional capital. La Paz is located at an altitude of 3 660 m. The summit of Nevado Illimani, which rises to over 6,000 m high, overlooks the city.

The government decided that the clock visible on the front of the Parliament, in La Paz, would now turn to the left, with an inverted numbering. Objective: to represent the identity of the peoples of the South.

Sucre is the constitutional capital of Bolivia, and houses the seat of the Supreme Court.
