One of the best photos I have taken in my opinion. This was shot in the gothic quarter of Barcelona which is one of the most gorgeous places to walk and shoot.
The contrasts in materials and colours, the modern grafitti, the gothic shapes meld into a mishmash of beauty.
The light pouring from the sky and dark depths of the doorways of this picture frame the perfect lean of dog and owner, the matching scooters to the side and the myriad things hanging from balconies all come together to complete a snapshot of life.
This hangs in our bedroom.
