Seals belonging to antique collectors Harun Keuchik Leumik, residing at Banda Aceh, Sumatra. Seals by Harun collected totaled 12 pieces, the oldest year figure is 1844, and the last year figure is 1903. I these documented antiques on November 2010.
The existence of this documentation known by researchers at the British Library Annabel Teh Gallop, position Lead Curator, Southeast Asia.
Annabel contacted me on July 2015, so willing to send the original photo file for the needs of the research and development of science. she will incorporate into the catalog of this collection "MALAY SEAL Inscriptions: A STUDY IN ISLAMIC EPIGRAPHY FROM SOUTHEAST ASIA" is composed of three volumes. Approximately more than 2,000 ancient seals comes from the Malay Archipelago successfully in identification by Annabel, and the amount of seals from Aceh about 430 pieces. After 12 hours of deliverable photo files via email, her reply by email in pdf form, she had read all 12 seals Harun keuchik Leumik collection . I will include the results of reading the writing found on seals, by Annabel in this post.
