I didn't get a trip post done yesterday because I was too tired after dealing with my youngest and her broken arm! She was playing on a playground and fell.
Today, we drove from @goat-girlz's farm to Aberdeen, Washington (2 1/2 hours, apparently) to visit some relatives. Then, we went further north, intending to drive around the Olympic Peninsula and find somewhere to stay along the way.
Along the Olympic Peninsula (Washington) coast, there are these beaches imaginatively named "Beach 1, Beach 2, Beach 3 and Beach 4. Then there's Ruby Beach. I think these were at Beach 3 or maybe Beach 4.
Here, I decided to play with the focusing just a little. One focused on the leaves and the other focused more on the Pacific Ocean.
Finally, a beautiful scene with the trees right next to the beach - just stunning!
Tonight, we're in Port Angeles, Washington (further than we'd intended, but there were no rooms in Forks, and what they had was for a couple arms and legs more than what I wanted to pay anyway...)
Tomorrow, it's across Puget Sound and maybe visit with another one of my friends.
Photos taken by myself in August 2019 with my Pentax K30.
