Pair O' June Roses - a floral portrait

I was simply comparing two different Kodak cameras this day.
The one I'd bought only the previous camera - the best I could afford at the time - and one that struggles with macro-images in general.

Here's the other camera... An older, but higher-end (originally) camera. Clearly, this one isn't 100% in focus, which was disappointing, but the color has less warmth to it. However, it's probably closer to the original.

In this case, I prefer the first image, but were the two both in perfect focus, it would be difficult to choose. Both images have some things going strongly for them... What's your thought?

(Unfortunately, neither camera seems to have stood the test of time, so time to make friends with my husband's good camera - at least until we can afford to get me a better one of my own.)
