[Music without sound] You closed the door behind you

The door closed behind you,
When you left.
But I can still feel your scent,
That still lingers around.
Your perfume, on your side of the bed,
I haven’t changed the sheets, yet,
And on my shirts, that you used to wear,
I can still find your hair…
I look at that painting, that you once loved,
Looking at him, makes my eyes flood…
You left, and closed the door behind,
But I can’t get you out of my mind,
I can still feel your presence near,
I can feel like you are still here.
But you are not. You left.
You wanted to leave,
You said that I was naive,
And didn’t want to believe in reality,
That I love more my own vanity,
More than I loved you,
When you… you were my whole world,
And I would have turned
All of it upside down, just to see your smile.
But you left anyway, and that can’t be changed.
And for a while I will stay in sorrow and drained
Of all my happiness and joy.
You might have broken my heart,
But I’ll transform the shreds into a piece of art.
