Poem: Always Grow / Continue de grandir (English - français) (with photo)

Not many people know that I started writing poetry in my mother tongue -- French. A few weeks later, I decided to give English a try.

I quickly noticed that my style is different depending on the language I use. My poetry in French is more "abstract" than my poetry in English. However, I tend to be more free flowing in the latter. In French, I tend to follow a specific pattern.

As a challenge to myself, I have translated into English most of the poems that I wrote in French. Here is an example below.

ALWAYS GROW

There is a light in the sky.
(Gather your thoughts.)
You see down low and up high.
(Gather your thoughts.)
Feeling strong and compelling,
Your limits are unsheltered.
(Gather your thoughts.)
Will you hear the words?

Always grow!
Grow always!

CONTINUE DE GRANDIR

Il y a un éclat dans le ciel.
(Unis tes pensées.)
Ta vision gravit les échelons.
(Unis tes pensées.)
Tu te sens fort et incontestable,
Tes limites sont à découvert.
(Unis tes pensées.)
Embrasseras-tu le message ?

Continue de grandir !
Ne t’arrête jamais !
