The road to hell is Paved with good intentions [original poem]

The road to hell, is often paved with good intentions.

Atomic bombs - can be seen as a rational solution,

When we make decisions solely from "logical" thought,

With closed hearts.

We become machines.

When we do things for the 'greater' good.

Without moral consequence.

We destroy peoples lives.

In the end, we ourselves decay: and our hearts sink into the great depths of fear: drowning us.

Hitler was a great man.

Some call him evil.

He saw himself as one who would bring about a greater world.

By ending the curse that Jewish blood brought to the world.

By creating a master race.

He saw it justified.

But in the end what did he accomplish?

In the end his throne was taken from him.

In the end millions died for nothing.

And so it is with every war that is not exactly a 'bankers' war

Any war with a deeper cause that is not a peoples war.

Any war that is faught for what is perceived to be the greater good.

It was a road to hell.

Paved with good intentions.
